My name is George Monty. I am the Owner of TrueLife (Podcast/media/ Channel) I’ve spent the last three in years building from the ground up an independent social media brandy that includes communications, content creation, community engagement, online classes in NLP, Graphic Design, Video Editing, and Content creation. I feel so blessed to have reached the following milestones, over 81K hours of watch time, 5 million views, 8K subscribers, & over 60K downloads on the podcast!

My career as an educator and author has brought me far and wide--from growing up in the Bronx, NY, to teaching in Spearfish, SD, and Troy, NY, to my current position in Newport News, VA. In addition to my work in the classroom, I have held many administrative positions, and have written and spoken on a variety of subjects from medieval mysticism to faculty evaluation, from Shakespeare to Paul Valéry. I am particularly interested in the ways technology has influenced modern life--in both good and bad ways--in everything from the ways we read, learn, and remember to the ways we engage in reflection and devotional practices. I am a lover of all things Flintstones, am a devotee of "The Odd Couple," "Northern Exposure," and "The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin," and have always been a fan of the hapless and hopeless NY Jets.
